closely monitoring the situation...................

A deep sigh...a traumatic feeling of utter helplessness that numb my senses...a lamentable and tragic loss of our own fellow people...an unending cry for help goes through the air....and then the oracle comes "...closely monitoring the situation"...
Sets of vivid flashes up in front of us...a regular joe comes up in tv..who says "he could only help 5 people...because he was transferring the helpless..in his bike..and could only help one at a time...." the sense of helplessness...the sight of gory...where death and tragedy isnot a fight over numbers..whether its 100 or 150...
but then again the common man is at fault..like most of the time..just like all other times..."heartfelt solidarity" ..and "free cremation" are the stuff which is in store for him..u just bet he feels himself lucky to get those sops in this era of fierce market oriented world...where nothing is free..but may be u can get a deal of one thing free when u purchase the other stuff....
As a common man in my beloved motherland... where our age old wisdom which has imbibed a sense of karma and stocisim...and yes reincarnation..which transforms death into a journey of a sort...( that does make things a hell lot better..afterall who doesnt love a good journey)...but the tears..they just dont stop rolling...(u..silly tears..the situation is being closely monitered u know)......its just a anamoly that after 13 years of a similar incident ..noone isnt convicted by our court of law..but then we lowly placed mortal beings shouldnt even think of worldly justice..whts the value of it..arent we as a nation always believed in divine intervention and karmic sufferings...
A city remains awake whole night, waiting for its bread earners to retun home...the city comes down to street helping ...sharing the tragedy and grief...bringing their kith and kin back ...some from the mortuary.
